GlaxoSmithKline is a leading global healthcare company, with a rich heritage dating back to the 19th century through its predecessor companies. GSK leverages extensive research and development capabilities to address some of the world's most pressing medicinal and pharmaceutical challenges.
GSK had been utilising the 'Qi' CMS software to manage the database of their historic catalogue objects. Having recently gone through an extensive global rebranding exercise with the studio Wolf Ollins, they approached us to utilise their new identity for a heritage portal.
Their new portal is intended as a private SSO platform for global internal staff to access a user-friendly interface presenting the database of their entire corporate history. Providing the ability to grant access for external bodies such as marketers, collaborators, researchers, scholars and legal departments.
I lead the implementation of their new branding across the heritage platform, converting raw data into accessible UX paths. Transforming their location data into interactive maps, timelines and creating spaces for dataset records on companies, people and products.
